Large inverters with 100 - 300 kW power are in the same HV line as small power electronics with 2 - 10 kW

The "small" electronics do not only see the DC voltage of the battery - but also the superimposed Ripple-Voltage of the large inverters

With the usual boundary conditions in such constellations, it is not so rare that the smaller DC link capacitors must handle considerably higher ripple currents, due to the external ripple voltage excitation, and sooner or later are overloaded and destroyed - unless you take appropriate countermeasures
